This week’s featured new home is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath daylight basement rambler in the Pioneer Hills development near Stanwood. It has territorial, Sound and mountain views from three sides, thanks to a Juliet balcony facing the front and a partially covered wraparound deck in the back.

The house provides 3,180 square feet of living space and includes a bonus room, home office and two-car garage.

The main living floor (the upper level) includes an expansive great-room with a see-through gas fireplace.

The area combines formal living, dining and family rooms adjacent to the kitchen. Completing the level is a luxurious bedroom suite and a powder room.

Downstairs, the home is completed by a bonus room from which two bedrooms and a den pinwheel.

The bedrooms are served by a full bathroom and convenient laundry room.

The home’s highlights include hand-scraped distressed walnut flooring that extends throughout much of the upper floor, granite slab countertops, ceramic countertops and backsplashes, slate flooring, commercial grade stainless steel appliances, and upgraded bronze oil-rubbed fixtures.

A wall of windows and French doors that open to the rear deck frame a 270-degree view and invite natural light into the living space. The see-through fireplace can be enjoyed from anywhere in the great-room.

Among the kitchen features are a curved, five-person breakfast bar with drop-down lighting, stainless steel mobile island, two distinct styles of cabinets, an undermount farmhouse-style sink, and a glass tile backsplash.

The bedroom suite has an extra large sleeping area with zero-clearance gas fireplace and French doors that open to the balcony. Its five-piece bathroom includes a single vanity with granite top, tile flooring, mosaic glass tile accents, an old-fashioned tub with flexible spray arm, and a freestanding shower with tile surround and rain showerhead.

Balustrades line the staircase that descends to the daylight basement. Both bedrooms here are oversized and include walk-in wardrobe closets.

The full bathroom is completed with a tile floor with stone accents, a granite slab vanity, and a shower/tub combination with matching tile surround. The den faces a side yard and could be utilized as a fourth bedroom.

Completing the home is a slate-floored hall and a laundry room with built-in laundry tub and overhead cabinets.
