13931 33rd Avenue SE, Mill Creek

This week’s featured new construction is a four-bedroom (plus den), 2.75-bath two-story in the Northpointe development near Mill Creek.

It’s the Juniper A floor plan, with 2,077 square-feet of living space, a two-car garage and a fenced back yard.

The home was designed and built by Bennett Homes.

The three-quarter bath and the den are located to the left upon entry, along a hallway corridor that leads to the living room, dining room and kitchen. Bathroom features include a pedestal sink, walk-in shower with fiberglass shell, a wood-wrapped window and vinyl flooring. The den has a window facing a side yard, and an overhead light fixture.

Access to the finished garage is to the right of the entry.

The living room has a gas fireplace trimmed with a ceramic tile hearth and border. Two alcoves flank the fireplace and could be finished as bookcases or built-in storage.

The dining area is positioned between the living room and kitchen. It has a sliding glass door that opens to an exposed aggregate backyard patio.

Completing the entry level is a center-island kitchen with slab granite countertops. A ceramic tile backsplash ascends to paneled cabinets with crown molding. Other features include recessed lighting and stainless steel appliances.

A switchback staircase ascends to the home’s sleeping floor. A family room is positioned at the top of the stairs, with a furnace closet, laundry closet and linen closet located on interior load-bearing walls.

A bedroom suite is located to the immediate left. Its oversized sleeping area is augmented by double bifold doors enclosing a standard closet, and a small walk-in wardrobe closet with wire storage shelves.

The suite’s bathroom has a double vanity topped with tile, a backsplash with accent tile, vinyl flooring and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

The three remaining bedrooms – two facing the street and one facing the rear — are completed with bifold doors enclosing standard closets, overhead lighting and windows with wood sills.

The second full bathroom includes a single vanity with ceramic tile top and stone backsplash, vinyl flooring, a full vanity mirror, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.
