This week’s featured new construction is a two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom townhome that is actually a single family home with one inch of air space on all sides.

Located in the Rainier Terrace condominiums in south Everett, the townhome is part of two buildings, each with four units.

The bottom floor is comprised of a single-car garage enclosed by a single insulated steel panel door with window panels and a remote door opener. In addition to covered parking, the space provides owners with a versatile, dry-space storage area.

Upstairs, the main living floor includes a kitchen, powder room, and great-room.

A second flight of stairs ascends to the third-level sleeping quarters, where two bedrooms are served by a full bath, laundry closet and linen closet.

Kitchen highlights include paneled cabinets, vinyl flooring, laminate countertops, ceramic tile backsplash, white-on-white appliances, two-compartment stainless steel sink, extended breakfast bar, canned lighting and a pantry closet with ventilated wire storage shelves.

A storefront door opens to the patio and provides a second exterior entrance.

Powder room attributes include a single vanity, matching vinyl flooring and laminate countertop, a ceramic tile backsplash and a four-bulb strip light with chrome faceplate and clear glass bulbs.

The great-room has an oversized rectangular-shaped living space with Category V high-tech wiring, electric wall heat, plush carpeting and a large window with mini-blinds overlooking the front of the complex.

At the top of the second stairwell is a laundry closet large enough to accommodate a full-sized stacked washer and dryer pair. The closet is enclosed by paneled bifold doors and is adjacent to a window that opens to the south.

Both upstairs bedrooms are completed with vaulted ceilings, Category V wiring, thermostats, frosted/fluted light fixtures and paneled bifolds enclosing standard closets with multi-tiered, ventilated wire storage shelves. One bedroom faces the front, the other the rear.

A full-size bathroom and the linen closet are positioned between the two bedrooms. The bathroom includes a single vanity topped with laminate, a tile backsplash, and matching vinyl flooring. Completing the room are a vanity mirror, four-bulb light strip and shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass surround.

The linen closet is enclosed by a paneled bifold door with wire storage shelves positioned inside.
