This week’s featured new home is a four-bedroom, three-bath Craftsman-style two-story located near the Three Lakes area of Snohomish. It has a three-car attached garage and is on a 2.5-acre lot with mature evergreens.

Vitals include city water, a septic system, security system, propane gas furnace, a heat pump delivering air conditioning, a central vacuum system and surround sound.

An outdoor room, located just off the informal dining nook, is a covered living space plumbed for a gas barbecue. It includes a floor-to-ceiling cultured stone raised hearth fireplace.

Cherry flooring covers the home’s entry foyer and extends throughout much of the main level, which includes formal living and dining rooms, the kitchen and nook, a family room, full bathroom, home office and the garage.

Living room features include a high vaulted ceiling, two-tiered wood-wrapped windows, wainscoting, chair railing and crown molding. The dining room has a double coffered ceiling with double crown molding, a built-in cherry buffet with slab granite top, and formal millwork.

In the kitchen, an extended center island is topped with black slab granite and houses a four-burner cook top and wine captain. Cabinets are cherry-paneled with crown molding, and countertops are slab granite.

Angled walls with oversized windows frame the private back yard. A storefront door opens to the outdoor room. The family room includes a gas fireplace with slate tile hearth and border and wood mantel. A cherry bookcase and storage space for entertainment gear is positioned on the left.

A staircase trimmed with wrought-iron balusters ascends to the home’s sleeping level, which is highlighted by an expansive bedroom suite with spa-like bathroom. A home theater, the additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and a laundry room complete the upper level.

Features of the bedroom suite include a paneled French door and angled walls with windows. Its bathroom is highlighted by twin skylights, radiant heat tile flooring, a double vanity topped with slab granite and a mosaic glass tile backsplash, corner jetted tub encased in a tile surround beneath privacy windows, and a freestanding shower with tile surround.

The remaining bedrooms are oversized, with cherry-paneled bifold doors enclosing closets with organizer systems.
