This week’s featured new construction is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom two-story located in the WestView Ridge development in east Everett near Cavalero Hill.

Exterior features include horizontal lap siding contrast against stained shingle gable ends, an architectural composition roof, brushed cement drive, covered front porch and professional landscaping.

Entrance is gained through a paneled metal door with beveled privacy glass. A vertical window flanks the door, with ceramic tile covering the landing. A short hallway winds toward the home’s living area.

The main floor includes a kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, powder room, laundry room and two-car garage. Upstairs are a bedroom suite, two additional bedrooms served by a full bath, and either a bonus room, home office or fourth bedroom.

The center-island kitchen has slab granite countertops with drop-down lighting, ceramic tile backsplashes with glass mosaic tile, hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, and Shaker-style maple paneled cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves.

Steps away, the dining room is brightened by a window with wood sill and sliding glass doors that open to a brushed cement patio and a fenced and landscaped back yard.

The living room’s focal point is a gas fireplace trimmed with a slab granite border and framed by a formal wood surround and mantel.

The powder room includes a pedestal sink and beveled oval mirror, and the laundry room includes vinyl flooring and a ventilated wire storage shelf. The two-car garage has an electric door opener and encloses the home’s gas furnace and hot water tank.

Positioned to the immediate left at the top of the stair landing, the bedroom suite is finished with a cathedral ceiling, two-tone paint scheme and oversized window facing the back yard.

Features of the suite’s bathroom include a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, matching tile flooring, privacy window and a shower/tub combination with fiberglass shell.

The remaining two bedrooms have paneled sliding doors enclosing standard-sized closets, overhead light fixtures, and phone/cable jacks.

One room is oriented toward a side yard, the other overlooks the front.

Completing the home is a second full bathroom. Highlights include a single vanity topped with laminate, complementary vinyl flooring, a skylight and a shower/tub combination with fiberglass shell.
