MONROE SCHOOLS

Good education is key to everything

Real estate professionals have proven time and again what you already know -- strong schools make for stronger home values. If your home is a major investment for you, then schools should be, too.

The job market has proven time and again what you already know -- better education leads to better jobs leads to a stronger economy. If you'd like to live in an area where good jobs are available, then you want a well-financed school system.

Public safety officials like police have proven time and again what you already know -- kids who get a good education and are given the tools to succeed are far more likely to stay out of the kind of trouble that costs taxpayers heavily, both in terms of security and taxes, for incarceration. If you'd like to help keep more kids doing the right thing, then voting for schools is simple common sense.

Yes, well-supported schools will cost us money. But poorly supported schools cost us much, much more! I'm voting "yes" for Monroe's schools, and hope you will, too.
