PREP BOYS SOCCER: King's to play for 1A title

 SUMNER -- The King's boys soccer team defeated Columbia (White Salmon) 2-1 in the state 1A semifinals, thanks to a goal in the 69th minute by Brett Simons at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.

King's will play Highland at 5 p.m. today in the championship game at Sunset Chev Stadium.

King's first goal was scored by freshman forward Trevor Bartels in the 26th minute. Cheno Barajas scored in the 50th minute for Columbia.
