KIRKLAND -- Former first-round draft pick Marcus Tubbs is no longer a Seattle Seahawk.
The defensive tackle suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from another knee surgery, and he was placed on the Terminated/Failed Physical list.
Coach Mike Holmgren said the team hopes to re-sign Tubbs, but he is eligible to sign with any other NFL team.
A first-round pick in the 2004 NFL draft, Tubbs has played in 29 game, including 16 starts.
He underwent multiple knee surgeries in the offseason.
The Seahawks have plenty of depth at the position, with starters Rocky Bernard and Brandon Mebane back this season, along with veterans Craig Terrill and Howard Green. Rookie Red Bryant and veteran Larry Tripplett are currently sidelined by injuries.
