Cornhuskers suspend linebacker

Nebraska's Cody Glenn will be gone from the team indefinitely for violating team rules, Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini said Tuesday. He would not elaborate on Glenn's violation. Glenn is the Cornhuskers' third-leading tackler, with 51 stops. He has six tackles for loss, four quarterback hurries and four pass breakups. The senior from Rusk, Texas, played running back before moving to linebacker this season.

Montana St. loses two QBs

Bobcats football coach Rob Ash said Tuesday that third-string quarterback Mark Desin will start Saturday against Portland State. Cody Kempt and Mark Iddins are out for the season with injuries, Ash said. Iddins injured his shoulder against Northern Arizona. Kempt has not signed the release allowing school officials to discuss his injury, which caused him to miss the NAU game.
