EVERETT -- A driver Friday afternoon sped away after hitting a 3-year-old boy.
Police on Saturday morning were looking for the vehicle that hit the boy around 1 p.m. in the 10900 block of 10th Drive SE, Everett Police Sgt. John DeRousse said. The boy's father took him to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
After hitting the child, the driver struck a fence and fled northbound, DeRousse said.
