Front Porch: Frank Young acts fast

Christopher Young says his dad, Frank Young of Brier, is well known as a selfless man.

On July 4, Frank Young was on his way to help a man who had recently gone through surgery. On the way, he saw smoke in a yard. Young ran into the yard, saw a fence on fire, grabbed a hose and put out the blaze.

"I believe, if it were not for him, the damage the fire could have inflicted would have been much worse, and possibly lethal," his son said.
