Also known as the man for whom the Cascade gym is named, Scodeller has won more games as a Snohomish County basketball coach than anyone in history. His 350 career wins at Stanwood, Cascade and Everett High rank 48th in state history. Scodeller was Cascade's original boys basketball coach, joining the staff when the school opened in 1960. He is a member of the Washington State Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
