Permaculture Design Course

Shambala Farm hosts a two-week educational event focused on sustainable living from June 6- June 20. Permaculture is an international design system for creating sustainable human habitats.

Event fee pays for catered meals, rustic lodging (camping), field trips/tours, course handbook, and lots of hands-on learning opportunities. This workshop is based off the 72-hour internationally recognized curriculum. Topics covered include permaculture principles & design, patterns in the landscape, wildcrafting, mushroom cultivation, soil ecologies & composting, water harvesting & management, polyculture gardens, edible forest gardens, integrating livestock, natural building, appropriate technologies, value-added permaculture products and more!
