ROTARY SHARING TREE AT ALDERWOOD MALL

November 23 - December 24 | 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

ROTARY SHARING TREE AT ALDERWOOD MALL imageThis year marks the 25th anniversary of the Sharing Tree at Alderwood Mall. It is a community service project of the Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Club in cooperation with General Growth Properties, Inc...

Last year over 2,000 gifts were collected and distributed by the Alderwood –Terrace Rotary Club to a variety of community and social service agencies. Major recipients include the Edmonds Food Bank Toy Shop, Lynnwood High School’s Giving Tree, and the Neighbors in Need Toy Shop. Clothes for Kids and The Community Homework Center, for first generation immigrant children also benefit from the generosity of the community. Gifts collected for seniors are provided to recipients of Medicaid services. The Rotary Club has made efforts to eliminate duplication of services across agencies and to enable more people to receive assistance during the holiday season. It is noteworthy that all gifts remain in the community. New, unwrapped gifts of toys, books, DVD’s CD’s, sports gear, clothing and toiletries are collected at The Sharing Tree, inside Alderwood Mall near Nordstrom. Cash or gift cards are also welcome. The Sharing Tree will be accepting gifts from 10 AM to 9 PM starting November 23 until Noon on December 24.
