In the spirit of giving, light a light this holiday season for someone you love, something you wish for or in remembrance of a loved one.
Each light you light is a donation to the scholarship fund that enables local children to participate in our recreation programs who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
This year a living fir tree will be strung with lights and placed outside the entrance to the center.
Donate $5 per name and we'll note your donation on a main floor bulletin board inside the center. The tree will remain lit until January 4th.

The Nutcracker

The first of ten performances will take place at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on December 5th at 2:00 and 7:00 PM and December 6th at 3:00 PM. OBT then travels to the Byrnes Performing Arts Center in Arlington for December 13th at 2:00 PM. Olympic Ballet Theatre closes at the Everett Performing Arts Center at 2:00 PM on December 19th and 20th with a possible additional performance at 7:00 PM on December 19th. This production is well known for its child friendly, close and yet professional exciting performances.

Nearly 400 boaters will decorate their boats in a festive display of lights and welcome more than 2,000 developmentally disabled guests aboard at various docks and yacht clubs around the area.

"Light a Light" for the City of Edmonds Youth Scholarship Fund
|
In the spirit of giving, light a light this holiday season for someone you love, something you wish for or in remembrance of a loved one.
Each light you light is a donation to the scholarship fund that enables local children to participate in our recreation programs who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
This year a living fir tree will be strung with lights and placed outside the entrance to the center.
Donate $5 per name and we'll note your donation on a main floor bulletin board inside the center. The tree will remain lit until January 4th.

A Festival of Lessons & Carols

The Northwest Boychoir celebrates its 31-year tradition with the presentation of its 2009 A Festival of Lessons & Carols concert series featuring eight regional performances in December. These holiday concerts showcase the 80-member combined chorus of the Northwest Boychoir and Vocalpoint! Seattle.
Patterned after the Christmas Eve observance at King’s College in Cambridge, England, A Festival of Lessons & Carols has become a holiday tradition for thousands of families in the Puget Sound region. This classical performance consists of nine holiday readings, each followed by a traditional carol performed by the choir, and another carol sung by the choir and audience. |
