Local seafood to eat in moderation

The state Department of Health recommends eating two meals of fish per week, but maybe those fish shouldn't come from local waters. A recent study by the Health Department found that several kinds of seafood from Port Gardner and the Snohomish River estuary could lead to a higher risk of cancer due to high concentrations of toxic substances. However, several kinds of seafood from Puget Sound can pose health risks, not just ones from the Everett area.
