Ten-year-old Caleb Sinnema uses a tractor to muck out the family dairy barn in January. The Sinnema family's current raw milk operation started years ago when the family bought a single Guernsey cow for the family's four kids to take care of. The family now has 19 Guernseys. Dairy farmer Jim Sinnema sold his milk to Darigold until 1998, when he went out of business. Now his family farm is back though, selling raw milk as the Old Silvana Creamery.
