Alex Neill cheers and claps a noisemaker as he runs through the halls of Sequoia High School during his graduation parade. The parade is a long tradition at Sequoia, allowing students who may not make it to graduation in the spring to still be celebrated by their school upon completion of all of the credits they need to graduate. After years watching other students run through the school, it was finally Alex's turn. "That was once in a lifetime," said Alex after finishing his parade. (Mark Mulligan / The Herald)
