Pedestrian hit by vehicle flown to Harborview

EVERETT - A pedestrian was flown by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Saturday after being struck by a vehicle at Pacific Avenue and Broadway, officials said.

The accident occurred about 7:15 p.m. The injured woman was delivered by the Everett Fire Department paramedics to Sequoia High School at Rucker Avenue and 35th Street, where she was picked up by the helicopter and taken to Harborview, Everett Fire Department officials said. No other details were available.

Everett: Man injured in fall at boat yard

A man fell Saturday afternoon while working on a boat at the North Marina boat yard, Everett fire officials reported.

The man was working on the boat in dry dock when he fell about 3:05 p.m. He was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. No other details were available.

Mill Creek: Two men injured in accident

Two young men suffered injuries Saturday in a two-vehicle accident near Mill Creek, fire officials said.

A Subaru and a Ford Mustang collided with each other about 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of 164th Street SE and Highway 9 east of Mill Creek, said Battalion Chief Janet Jaeger of Snohomish County Fire District 7.

Following the collision, the Mustang ran into a ditch and caught fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fire about a minute after arriving on the scene, Jaeger said.

The two men in the Mustang were in satisfactory condition with minor injuries at Providence Everett Medical Center's Colby Campus. Their names were not released.

The driver of the Subaru was not hurt.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, Jaeger said.
