None injured in garage fire

EVERETT - No one was injured as a fire broke out in a detached garage at 2317 Rucker Ave. on Sunday.

The fire was reported at 8:33 p.m., Everett Fire Department Battalion Chief Roger Westlund said. The fire spread into an attic storage area above the garage but was extinguished before it could engulf the building.

The cause of the fire and amount of damage had yet to be determined Sunday.
