Big thank you to medical centers

During the first week of 2007 my husband was experiencing an uncharacteristic shortness of breath. His blood pressure was in a normal range but his pulse was elevated. He was becoming more unable to continue his daily routine. That's when I drove him to the Everett Clinic's walk-in clinic at the Gunderson Building in Everett.

Within two hours he was transported by paramedics from the Everett Fire Department and admitted directly to Providence Everett Medical Center on Colby.

Thank you Everett Clinic, Everett Fire Department and Providence for your excellent coordination. Thank you, Snohomish County taxpayers, for supporting our fire department aid units.

My husband wasn't "safe to transport" because of a massive blood clot in his chest (just think, I had just driven him there 10 miles in our pickup).

Our life is back to normal now and we just want to say a big thank you.

Bob and Janet Trewhitt
