Man sentenced to prison for selling meth

SEATTLE - A man who supplied an Arlington woman with at least two pounds of methamphetamine was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday.

Anibal Leon-Inzunza, 25, a Mexican national, was convicted of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in U.S. District Court.

The Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration identified Inzunza as a drug supplier who had access to large amounts of meth.

He was arrested after he delivered two pounds of meth to an Arlington woman. The drugs were hidden in a cereal box, according to court documents filed by special assistant U.S. Attorney Adam Cornell.

Cornell also is a Snohomish County deputy prosecutor.

The woman, Michelle Joss, is serving six years in prison for drug possession. She had two pounds of meth when she was arrested.

Under the direction of police, she ordered more meth from Inzunza, who showed up at her house within hours with the drugs.

"This is a very serious crime," Chief U.S. District Court Judge Robert Lasnik said Friday. "There was a large amount of methamphetamine, and there has been terrible damage to the community."

Inzunza faces deportation to Mexico after he serves his prison sentence.
