Another way to block out the neighbor's RV

Homeowners wanting an environmentally-friendly and trendy screen might consider a living wall. It's basically a vertical expanse of plants, a green fence of sorts. They can be free-standing or cover walls, installed indoors or out, and they’re used as much for the wow factor as for the environmental benefits.

You’ll be seeing more in commercial spaces and in some local home gardens as the idea catches on.

Companies are producing structures to help you build a green wall. The leaders include G-Sky, Elevated Landscape Technologies and Green Screen.

Check out the world's largest green wall , called the "Bio-lung."
