Campos finds new home

Former Silvertip right wing Brandon Campos found a new home today as the Chilliwack Bruins claimed him off waivers.
The Bruins were able to find room for Campos after overage winger Ken Petkau decided to retire from hockey. He joins winger Matt Meropoulis and goaltender Matt Esposito as former Tips playing for Chilliwack.
This is a good situation for Campos. He gets to stay in the league, and in Chilliwack he'll get more offensive opportunities than he received in Everett. Perhaps now he'll be able to show off the offensive skills that never really surfaced for the Tips.
