Pharmacy robbery defendant enters plea

ARLINGTON -- The last of three defendants pleaded guilty Thursday in the July 21 robbery of an Arlington pharmacy.

Alicia Nielsen, 19, of Everett is expected to be sentenced in January in federal court.

Derek Lindstrom, 20, and Randon Gilfillan, 18, both of Burlington also are awaiting sentencing in connection with the robbery.

Nielsen was a lookout in at the Smokey Point Rite-Aid while Lindstrom, armed with a gun, demanded oxycodone from the pharmacist, according to court documents. Gilfillan drove the getaway car.

The trio were arrested later that day.

Police recovered about 1,700 pills and a weapon. Nielsen expected to receive drugs and cash in return for assisting in the robbery.
