In your heart, you know he's right (or left)

A chicken in every pot, a tongue in every cheek: It's been more than 10 years since Pat Paulsen, Washington state native son and comedian, ran for the White House, mostly because he died in 1997. Now the mantle has been passed to Stephen Colbert, Clown Prince of the Punditocracy and host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report."

Colbert might want to sift through some of Paulsen's past campaign slogans, which include: "If elected, I will win" and "I've upped my standards, now up yours."

Grab your brooms: Area officials and entrepreneurs are making plans to make some money and snag tourists on their way to the 2010 Winter Olympics in British Columbia. Among the suggestions is opening up Everett's Comcast Arena to teams looking for practice space.

Save your spots now to catch the Latvian National Curling Team as it rockets the granite stones down the curling sheet.

Pirates of Rodeo Drive::Walt Disney is revamping its California Adventure theme park because of lagging attendance.

Already pulled from the park because of liability concerns: Britney Spears' Wild Ride.
