COUNTY TREASURER

Lindsey has vision, planning, skills

I believe that Jerry Lindsey is the right person for the job of Snohomish County treasurer. I first met Jerry about 20 years ago, and worked closely with him for most of the last four years. Jerry is the treasury accounting manager for the Snohomish County treasurer. I worked as the systems administrator, supporting the software and hardware used to process information for the treasurer.

Jerry's integrity, work ethic and accomplishments are all of the highest rank. For example: Jerry has overseen the transformation of the cash handling and investment procedures from mostly "done by hand" to a modern computer assisted system -- including internal controls and balances to assure accounting integrity. He is responsible for the receipting and distribution of more than $2 billion annually.

Jerry has demonstrated the vision and planning to take advantage of automation whenever it will better serve the taxpayers of Snohomish County. There is no other candidate with the skills, abilities, experience and vision to lead the treasurer's office forward in service to all the residents of Snohomish County. I urge all voters to elect Jerry Lindsey treasurer.
