Rolling Stone goes digital
Third edition of 40th anniversary issues available in entirety online

So, in what by my count is Rolling Stone's gazillionth anniversary issue celebrating 40 years in print, the magazine has gone digital.
For the first time ever, the entire issue - the interviews, the ads, the political grandstanding - is available through the Internets.
It's surprisingly easy to navigate the magazine's 213 pages. You can click on the table of contents, select an individual article and bam, the sucker takes you right there. The type is small, so you have to zoom in to read it.
Oh, and if you want to print an article - because, honestly, who wants to read this whole thing online? - just click on file, print. Simple.
But hey, look at those interviews: Kanye West! Jack White! Win Butler of the Arcade Fire! Author Dave Eggers! Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes! Sure, Jane Goodall's tossed into the mix, but what the hell, why not?
Old stand-bys like Bono, Eddie Vedder, Bill Maher and Al Gore are also included.
In other words, it's the first of the magazine's 40th anniversary issues that seems worth owning, and here they are, giving it away for free.
