Police seek man who tried to rob Everett espresso stand

EVERETT – Police are searching for a man who robbed an espresso stand last month on Highway 99 near Everett.

The man walked up to the barista about 6 p.m. Oct. 10 and demanded money. He kept his hands in his pockets and moved them around, as if he was carrying a weapon. No weapon was seen.

The man ran off when a customer approached the stand. He didn’t get any cash. Detectives believe he may have driven off in a vehicle parked nearby.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20s. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build. He had dark blonde hair and a goatee. He was wearing a red baseball cap and a black hooded-sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
