“My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

We’re in a swashbuckling mood, thanks to the news that a 20th anniversary edition of “The Princess Bride” is being released on DVD.

In honor of our favorite slightly twisted fairy tale, here’s what the “Princess Bride” characters might have to say about some of today’s news:

Vizzini: “Inconceivable!”
  • Airbus has just landed another order for its A380 — from a Saudi prince who wants the 853-seater for personal use. The deal increases the competition between Boeing and Airbus, who will now vie to design a new refueling tanker so the prince, who also has his own 747, never has to land.

Westley: “Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.”
  • A Washington man was injured by flying debris when he tried get a stubborn lug nut off the wheel of his car by firing at it with a shotgun. Police said no alcohol was involved. The poor guy might have fared better if he’d had a few drinks before firing — that way, his aim wouldn’t have been quite so good.

    Westley: “Get used to disappointment.”
  • Police finally caught up with a Darrington man who allegedly led them on several chases while fleeing on his ATV and shouting obscenities or giving the bird. The man already has four felony convictions, 25 misdemeanors, and possibly a slight problem learning from experience.

More memorable "Princess Bride" quotes are available at imdb.com. And by "memorable," we mean pretty much the entire script.
