Liias, Loomis heading to Olympia

The votes are in and Mukilteo Councilman Marko Liias and former Snohomish mayor Liz Loomis are headed to the state House of Representatives.

The Snohomish County Council appointed Liias to succeed Brian Sullivan in the 21st Legislative District and Loomis to replace John Lovick in the 44th Legislative District.

Sullivan is now a county councilman and Lovick is the new Snohomish County sheriff.
