Contact Carol MacPherson (cmacpherson@heraldnet.com or 425-339-3472).   Published: Tuesday, February 5, 2008 OFFICER SHOOTING Car prowler got what he deserved Regarding the Jan. 30 article, "Man was killed by officer hours after leaving court": I have no sympathy for Mr. Jesse Quincy, who was shot by a Mill Creek officer. Mr. Quincy was a career criminal. He had served a light sentence for theft, was due to be sentenced for crimes including possession of stolen vehicles, possession of meth and possession of a firearm. He also admitted to possession of a stolen $30,000 Corvette. He arrived at the scene of his death in a stolen truck. Given all of this, he still would have gotten five years, a slap on the wrist and would have served a fraction of that, soon out to resume his criminal career. According to a TV interview with his girlfriend, he was also busy siring illegitimate children for society to raise and deal with. If Mr. Quincy had been home asleep that morning he would be alive today. I believe that the facts will show that the officer's action was justified. I will be called cruel and many other things, but society is well served by the outcome in this incident. Bill McColl Everett
