Update: Big upset for Lake Stevens' Jake Welch

We're deep into the evening session and Lake Stevens and Snohomish seem to be faring very well in the 4A tournament.
Both teams have had several wrestlers win their second matches of the day and advance to tomorrow's semifinals. Snohomish's semifinalists are Sam Ottow (125 pounds), Stefan St. Marie (135), Brad Perry (140) and Richard Reed (160).
Lake Stevens wrestlers who are through to the Final Four include Josh Heinzer (103), Zach Zweifel (112), Josh Monson (135), George King (145) and Jake Welch (160). Welch, who placed second behind Snohomish's Reed at the regional tourney, upset Bethel's Nick Budinger in a 7-2 decision. Budinger is ranked No. 4 in 4A by Washington Wrestling Report.
