4A state basketball: All-tournament teams

Honors for Jackson's Kristi Kingma, Snohomish's Katie Benson

Posted at 12:04 pm by Mike Cane, Herald Writer

In case you didn't read today's Herald, the 4A state tourneys wrapped up yesterday with the Snohomish girls and the Edmonds-Woodway boys both earning seventh-place trophies. Of the six Western Conference teams that qualified for state, Snohomish and E-W were the only ones that earned top-eight hardware.

The Ferris boys and Lewis & Clark girls both successfully defended their championships. Unbeaten Ferris slammed Federal Way 68-44, and undefeated L&C fought off Moses Lake 42-37 to win its third-consecutive title.
