The iPod as a source of evil: A think tank says iPods are responsible for a rise in crime because they tempt people into robbery.
Along with some anecdotal evidence, the report also cites the Bible, noting that Eve tempted Adam with -- like you didn't see this coming -- an Apple.
The iPod as a source of good: Nike and Apple, who found a new way to get runners to spend money by linking an iPod with a running shoe, now are working with gyms to hook up iPods to cardio equipment.
To motivate you during your workout on the treadmill, the iPod will shuffle through a playlist that includes a Marine drill instructor ordering you to drop and give him 20, your ninth-grade P.E. teacher yelling, "Let's pick it up, ladies!" and your spouse telling you that, "Yes, those shorts make your butt look big."
