A little caffeine will fix that




The problem with teenagers, a sleep expert says, is that they don't get enough sleep. Moving the start of the school day later could help -- as could a midafternoon nap, the expert says.

Now can we please get a study saying all adults need afternoon naps, too? Please?

Just don't let Starbucks catch wind of it; they prefer their customers sleep- deprived.

The Presidents of the United States of America are out with a new album, "These Are the Good Times People". While the music is undoubtedly fun and catchy, the title is a bit of a misnomer. Has the band been paying any attention to presidential politics lately? A more appropriate title: "These Are the Times of Finger- Pointing, Name-Calling, Sign-Waving, Endless-Debating and Posturing as We Campaign to Impress People."

Spring training's here. Time to loosen the arms, tone the muscles and hone that public speaking voice. At least, that's what the Giants are practicing. They've brought in an expert to teach "Speaking to the Media."

It's a big improvement after last year's Barry Bonds hoopla. Then they had to teach "Surviving a Rabid Pack of Reporters."
