Artem Wallace to have surgery

Posted at 11:54 am by John Boyle

I was just talking to Lorenzo Romar for a year end story that will run later this week, asked him about Artem Wallace, who injured his knee in last week's season-ending loss to Valparaiso.

Unfortunately for Wallace, the injury is a torn ACL, and he will have surgery sometime in the next couple of weeks (a date hasn't been set yet). Romar said he hopes Wallace will be back by next fall when the teams starts practice, but it's too early to project how long the rehab will take.
