Forecasters said there’s still a chance of some snow today or Friday. A half-inch of snow could fall this afternoon or evening especially on higher hilltops, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle. There’s also a chance of heavier snowfall mixed in with rain showers if a convergence zone sets up, which can occur over Snohomish County, forecasters said. Snow in late March is not rare, forecasters said. In 2007, about 2 inches of snow fell in Snohomish County in early April.
