Who's distilling liquor in state

Dry Fly Distilling of Spokane, which started production in October, produces vodka and gin, which costs $32 a bottle. It is available in some restaurants, bars and state-run liquor stores. See www.dryfly distilling.com or search www.liq.wa.gov/services/ brandsearch.asp to find out which liquor stores carry it.

Dynamic Alambic Artisan Distillers in Mattawa and the Ellensburg Distillery, both under the ownership of acclaimed Washington winemaker Berle "Rusty" Figgins Jr., will offer products under a variety of names starting this summer, including An Tua Nua absinthe, Cameo-de-Vie apple brandy, Kittitas Cream cream liqueur, plus grappa, sambuca and limoncello under another, yet-to-be determined brand name. In a few years, consumers can look for Gold Buckle Club rye whiskey and Clos Sainte-Rose brandy. See DynamicAlambic.com and TheEllensburgDistillery.com in early summer.

Pacific Distillery, under the ownership of Marc and Marjorie Bernhard of Everett, will produce small batches of Absinthe Pacifique, Voyager Gin and Cascadia Vodka. See www.pacificdistillery.com for updates.
