Komen for the Cure and is going public with her own battle with breast cancer. Nixon, who is reprising her role as Miranda in HBO's "Sex and the City" in an upcoming movie, had a lumpectomy two years ago and then underwent six and a half weeks of radiation. She also helped her mother battle breast cancer. "As the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, knowing my personal risk made me more aware and more empowered when I faced my own diagnosis," the 42-year-old actress said in a statement. "I want to help Susan G. Komen for the Cure educate the 1.1 million women around the globe who face a diagnosis each year." Nixon will serve as an ambassador for the organization and will share her cancer experiences in a series of Web videos. Martha Stewart mourns loss of 'spectacular dog' Martha Stewart's dog Paw Paw, who was a familiar face on her television show and in her magazine, has died of renal failure. The 60-pound chow, whose full name was Kublai Khan Paw Paw Chow Chow Chow, was almost 13. Stewart had owned him since he was born, and had named him Paw Paw for his large paws, a spokeswoman said. "Paw Paw was a spectacular chow and an even more spectacular dog," Stewart wrote in a blog post on his death Saturday. "He was always my loyal companion, displaying the most agreeable temperament." Alleged Caruso stalker fails to appear in court Austrian authorities searched Wednesday for a woman who failed to appear for the start of her trial on charges of stalking and threatening to kill "CSI: Miami" star David Caruso. A judge signed a warrant for the woman's arrest after she failed to show up for Wednesday's trial in the city of Innsbruck, Austrian media reported. The Tiroler Tageszeitung newspaper said her lawyer had reassured authorities last week that she intended to be in court. Prosecutors allege the 41-year-old woman sent more than 100 letters to Caruso and pursued the American actor for an autograph. They said Caruso received death threats after refusing to give her the autograph. Sambora faces added charges in DUI arrest Police in Laguna Beach, Calif., are asking the district attorney to file a misdemeanor child endangerment charge against Richie Sambora, who had two children in his car when he was arrested for investigation of drunken driving last month. Authorities haven't released the names of a woman and two girls who were passengers in Sambora's car when the Bon Jovi guitarist was stopped March 25. Laguna Beach police Sgt.
