Smith-McGee

Ariel Smith and James McGee were married Aug. 3, 2007 at Marina Village in San Diego, Calif.

Parents are Rev. Craig L. and Sharon Smith of Lynnwood and James and Catherine McGee of Manteca, Calif.

The couple met while serving as USMC military police in Okinawa, Japan. The groom now serves as a corrections officer in a state facility.

The bride is a sergeant in a private corrections facility and a SORT (Special Operations Response Team) officer.

The couple are making their home in the San Diego area.
