Marine View Drive, Everett. Appel is one of three Snohomish County candidates who have announced they will seek a seat now held by Judge Richard Thorpe. Thorpe has made it public that he will not seek another four-year term. Appeal asks people planning to attend to respond by Thursday. Call 425-343-7505 or e-mail info@GeorgeAppelforJudge.com. Appel, 42, has been a deputy prosecutor for 15 years and has handled everything from misdemeanor crimes to murders.
