Seahawks re-sign Floyd Womack

KIRKLAND — The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed veteran offensive lineman Floyd “Pork Chop” Womack to a one-year contract.

Since he was drafted by the Seahawks in 2001, Womack has played in 76 games with 32 starts, but has been limited by injuries. Womack played in 14 games with one start last season.

To make room on the roster, the team released defensive tackle Jonathan Lewis, who signed Jan. 15 as a free agent.
