Lakewood wins soccer shootout

Lakewood goalkeeper Peter Karrenberg stopped Lynden's fifth shootout attempt to give the Cougars a 2-1 victory in a first-round 2A District 1 playoff game Saturday. Lakewood moves on to a winner-to-state semifinal on Tuesday.
