Arlington woman, 18, injured in car rollover

LAKEWOOD -- Rescue workers cut an Arlington woman from the wreckage of her car Monday night after it flipped several times and smashed into a tree off McRae Road in Lakewood.

The 18-year-old driver escaped without life-threatening injuries, said Scott Goodale, a battalion chief for the Marysville Fire District.

She was driving an Oldsmobile east through the 800 block of McRae Road about 8:20 p.m. when she lost control, Goodale said. She was driving alone.

An ambulance took the teen to the Colby campus of the Providence Everett Medical Center for treatment.
