UW Bothell hosts culture night

The University of Washington's Bothell campus presents its seventh annual Intercultural Night at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at North Creek Events Center, UW Bothell, 18115 Campus Way, NE.

Admission is $15, or $10 for students. Children are admitted for free.

The event will celebrate diverse cultures on campus through music, dance performances, a dinner buffet and a silent auction.

During the international dinner buffet, art items from around the world will be available to bid on. Most are donated by UW Bothell international alumni, local art galleries and shops, as well as from students, faculty and staff members. Proceeds from the auction are used to fund the Natalie Kay Lang Immigrant Student Scholarship Fund.

In 2007, more than $4,000 was raised at the silent auction to fund scholarships.
