Video: A tribute to Jim Haley
Jim Haley was 23 years old when he began working for The Herald as a reporter in 1966.
Now, 42 years and thousands of stories later, he is marking the end of a career that has touched lives, changed this community and set the standard for journalists in Snohomish County.
Local leaders declared Saturday, May 10, "Jim Haley Appreciation Day" in his honor.
He created a legacy no one will forget.
