This Week's Public Meetings

Everett City Council, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The Council is scheduled to vote on a $143,000 contract with Perteet Engineering of Everett to perform a freight mobility contract. The cost would be shared with the city, the Port of Everett and Marysville.

Everett Parks and Recreation Commission, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Spruce Hall at Forest Park, 802 Mukilteo Blvd. Commissioners are scheduled to discuss the parks strategic plan with the parks director.

Everett Port Commission, 9 a.m. Wednesday, Port of Everett, 2911 Bond St., Suite 109. Commissioners are scheduled to hear an update on infrastructure improvements for the North Marina redevelopment project.

Snohomish County PUD Board of Commissioners, 9 a.m. Tuesday, PUD headquarters, 2320 California St., Everett. Commissioners are scheduled to vote on a resolution that would allow the general manager and treasurer shop for insurance from various providers.

Snohomish County Council, 10:30 a.m. today, eighth floor council chambers of the Drewel Administration Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The council has scheduled a briefing by federal lobbyists and considers proposed county park project contracts.
