Man runover by semi near Lake Stevens

LAKE STEVENS – A 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition this afternoon after a semi truck rolled over him while it was undergoing repair, officials said.

The man apparently was on the ground working on the truck when it accidentally rolled over him, said Lake Stevens Fire District Battalion Chief Larry Huff.

Rescue crews were called around 1:20 p.m. to the 5000 block of Riverside Avenue, located between Everett and Lake Stevens in the Snohomish River valley.

The man was rushed to a local hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately available.

The incident is under investigation by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
