Gardening for people who can't have a garden

Posted at 10:47 am by Debra Smith

The gardening trade research I’ve seen is saying that people today don’t have the time or space for gardening. People want pre-planted containers, for instance, even if they cost far more than the pot, soil and plants would have individually.

So here’s a product that falls beautifully into that category: your own backyard pond … without the backyard. It comes with its own little waterfall, a “weather-resistant, stone-like exterior,” and a spot to keep koi – one I assume. I’m not sure what happens when the fish grows.

But, ouch, look at the price tag: $449.99.
